Together we show that everyone is welcome in Deventer!

It's time again for the Pride Walk! We hope that as many people as possible will join this collective walk, whether you are part of the LGBTQIA+ community or not. Together, we will show how colorful Deventer is and can be.

Who is it for?

The Pride Walk is a festive walk for everyone who supports the LGBTQIA+ community. Be sure to bring your friends, grandparents, children, neighbors, and colleagues. Together, we will show that everyone in Deventer can be themselves, as long as we respect each other!

Outfit

Come in an outfit that makes you feel good, whether it's full of glitter or your most comfortable attire. Please keep your outfit family-friendly, as the Pride Walk is for all ages.

Expressions

Flags, signs, and posters are definitely welcome. We ask that you keep expressions related to Pride and LGBTQIA+. Expressions from your organization are allowed, but they must be linked to supporting the community, for example, a flag with a logo on a rainbow background. We do not accept expressions related to non-related objectives.

Queer Market & Party

The Pride Walk ends at Lamme van Dieseplein. On the square, DJ Ilja will provide music, and you can enjoy free ice cream from Talamini (while supplies last). Take a picture at the photobooth & coffee bar (with soft drinks) by Vrolijke Gasten. For children (and the young at heart), there will be a craft corner and bubble blowing.

And for the first time this year, there will also be a Queer Market! Featuring market stalls from local shops (including the one and only Pride Deventer merch by Blij!), queer makers, and information booths.

Accessibility & Useful Information

Suitable for: Everyone! Together we show our support for a Deventer where everyone can be themselves. The Pride Walk is fun for all ages and very family-friendly.
Wheelchair Accessible: Yes, the route has been tested with a wheelchair and stroller.
Low-Stimulus Section: At the back of the Pride Walk, there is a low-stimulus section. You can have more space here, and the music will be at a distance.
Hearing/Visually Impaired: We are in discussion with a sign language interpreter for the start of the Pride Walk. More information on this will follow.
Extra Guidance: If you need extra guidance during the Pride Walk, please let us know at info@pridedeventer.nl. We have a large team of volunteers who are happy to help so that everyone can participate!
