Led by Black Pearl de Almeida Lima

The workshop is led by Black Pearl de Almeida Lima – a Berlin-based Afro-Latinx trans multidisciplinary artist from Brazil. Her work is shaped by years of experience in European art institutions, dance companies, and the ballroom scene. As a member of the Iconic House of Saint Laurent Europe and the Kiki House of Solar, Black Pearl brings together runway, movement, and lived experience in a distinct artistic and political practice.

Thanks to this multidisciplinary background, the workshop moves effortlessly between dance, runway, experimental movement, floor work, and performance. The various elements are interwoven to explore how femininity resides in the body.

The session builds from a warm-up to runway and heels training, followed by choreography and performance. You will work on posture, movement, and self-expression, with a focus on confidence, authenticity, and presence.
