Every year, the Flower Parade attracts more than a million visitors, who are enchanted by colorful floats and beautifully decorated vehicles. It is an annual event that has been taking place since 1947. During this parade, floats lavishly decorated with spring flowers travel a 42-kilometer route from Noordwijk to Haarlem. In 2021, the Flower Parade Bollenstreek was added to the Inventory of Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Netherlands. This recognition emphasizes the cultural importance and tradition of the parade within Dutch society.
