11:00 - meeting at the train statio Hillegom
11:30 - half an hour at the Tulip Barn
12:00 - walk to see the flower fields
16:00 - watching the Corso
Note that differnet flowers bloom at different times and can be collected by the flower farmers any day.
About the Bloemencorso Bollenstreek
The parade usually consists of about 20 massive floats and 30 decorated luxury cars, accompanied by marching bands. The scent of millions of hyacinths is famously intense and can be smelled from streets away. The event attracts over a million visitors annually.
