The WorldPride March is much more than a parade. It is a powerful demonstration of visibility, solidarity and resistance. Together we show that everyone has the right to be themselves, to love who they want and to live freely, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression. We march not only for ourselves, but also for the millions of LGBTQIA+ people worldwide who cannot do so safely. To make their struggle visible, flags of countries where homosexuality is still criminalized are carried during the march. For this we follow the most up-to-date data from ILGA World and we cooperate with 76 Crimes, which monitors laws affecting LGBTQIA+ people worldwide.

National Pride Walk & WorldPride March

During the opening weekend, on Saturday 25 July, the annual National Pride Walk takes place. This route runs from Dam Square to Vondelpark, where Pride Park is held. Because during WorldPride thousands of international guests, activists and Pride organisations from around the world are in Amsterdam, we also organise the WorldPride March during the closing weekend. This international march will be larger than ever and offers space for delegations, civil society organisations and vehicles with music, campaigns and powerful messages for equality and human rights.

Photography & video recording

Photos and videos will be taken during the WorldPride March for reporting, promotional purposes and the historical archive of WorldPride Amsterdam 2026. By participating in the event you agree that imagery in which you may appear can be used for these purposes.
