Brandi Carlile is an Oscar-nominated and 11-time GRAMMY Award-winning singer, songwriter, performer, and producer. She is also a 2-time EMMY Award-winning composer, a #1 New York Times bestselling author, and a dedicated activist. As an openly lesbian artist, Carlile has used her platform to champion LGBTQ+ rights and queer visibility in country, folk, and Americana spaces, becoming one of the most respected voices in the music world.

Throughout her impressive career, she has released eight studio albums, including critically acclaimed collaborations and solo work that have topped charts worldwide. Her 2025 album, 'Returning to Myself', is her first in four years.

A Queer Icon and Activist

Carlile has been described as an "architecture of community" for queer people, turning her success into "scaffolding" to support emerging voices.
