We have so few places to talk about sex. Friction is a comfortable space for real sex stories. What do other people do? What is sex, really? Friction explores this by providing a stage for safe, pleasant stories and storytellers. Friction makes room for real sex stories: for the awkward, the funny, the delightful, the soft, and the raw. For people who want to share their experiences, and for people who want to listen.

About the Venue: Stichting Moira
Moira is a cooperative living group for creatives. They also organize evenings with music and art. It offers living space to people who actively contribute to the city's cultural life. Behind the bar are friendly, volunteer bartenders, and bar prices are sympathetically low.
Accessibility
The hall is only accessible via a downward staircase. There is no elevator. However, you can access the balcony and see the show without using the stairs. The team will ensure someone gets drinks for you if you need it.
Please note: At the moment, there is no wheelchair-accessible toilet. This is being worked on.
The nearest disabled parking space is at Van Asch van Wijckskade 28.
There is no low-stimulus room.
Feel free to wear your headphones in the hall or in the cloakroom if you need to.
There is no sign language interpreter (but the organization can help you find one, see their FAQ).
Stories are mainly in Dutch, with occasional exceptions in English.
A Care Team is available for everyone with questions, feelings, or just to chat. They are recognizable by a red heart-shaped light.
Let the organizers know in advance if you have any specific needs or wishes, and they'll see if they can help.
