How long have people been into kink? Is our idea of the traditional monogamous relationship really a tradition? Or is it a recent invention? And what did queer lives look like in the past? What if almost everything you learned in school about love and sexuality is only a tiny piece of the story?

In WRIVINGE, we travel from ancient Greece through the anything-but-chaste maidens of the Middle Ages to the kinky Victorians. Through cabaret, drag, and historical erotic literature, we discover how witty, sharp, and free-thinking our ancestors often were.
