π³οΈπ Bougie & Boozy hikers! π·β¨
It’s time to put on your walking shoes and take our queer agenda somewhere suitably chic: ’t Gooi. π
π³
This time, we’re walking 14 km from Baarn to Bussum-Zuid, following a beautiful stretch of the Trekvogelpad through the estates, forests and heathlands of one of the Netherlands’ most notoriously fancy regions. And with a new season of Gooische Vrouwen premiering this month, the timing could hardly be more appropriate. πΈπ
Along the way, we’ll pass Kasteel Groeneveld, wander through its beautiful parklands and tackle the gloriously named Wijnberg (wine mountain). Which may not exactly be the Tuscanian vineyard you dream of, but on a hike called Bougie & Boozy, we simply had to include it. ππ· From there, expect a very Gooische mixture of stately estates, woodland paths, heath and plenty of autumn scenery as we make our way toward Bussum.
Our grand finale will be a suitably bougie pit stop at Café Restaurant Heidezicht, close to Bussum-Zuid, where we can reward our 14 kilometres of queer athleticism with some fancy wine, non-alcoholic drinks and snacks including a heather view. π₯β¨
So dust off your pearls, hiking boots and oversized sunglasses and join us for a day of Gooische queer glamour and just a little daytime drinking in nature, channeling your inner Claire van Kampen. ππ₯Ύπ·
