Let yourself be taken along past artworks that ask or evoke questions, push boundaries, and tell stories that often remain underexposed. Discover how artists and their art have played with gender roles, desires, and identity throughout the centuries.

During this tour, we look at artworks in the museum's permanent collection from a queer perspective. 'Queer' here functions as a broad term for everything that does not fall within the traditional norms of heterosexuality and being cisgender. At the same time, queer also stands for a critical attitude: a way of looking that questions, challenges, and reinterprets existing ideas about gender and sexuality.

Good to know:

Admission: Free. Please arrive ten minutes early if you would like to join the tour to ensure you have a spot.
This program is suitable for ages 18 and up.
The walk-in tour is free to attend every Saturday in March during Queer History Month.
