'Heated Rivalry' Star Cast in Upcoming Season

Actor Connor Storrie, who gained a significant following for his role in the film adaptation of the popular M/M hockey romance novel Heated Rivalry, will appear in the upcoming season of Criminal Minds: Evolution. The casting news comes as Paramount+ confirms the series will return on May 28.

While details about Storrie's character are being kept under wraps, his appearance in the high-profile crime procedural marks a notable move for the actor. The series, a continuation of the long-running CBS drama Criminal Minds, follows the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) as they track down serial offenders.

Series Renewed for Milestone 20th Season

In addition to announcing the new season's premiere, Paramount+ has also given an early renewal for another season. This future season will mark the 20th installment of the Criminal Minds franchise overall, underscoring its continued popularity with audiences.

The main cast is slated to return, including Joe Mantegna, A.J. Cook, Aisha Tyler, Adam Rodriguez, Paget Brewster, and Kirsten Vangsness, who has long been an openly queer member of the show's ensemble. Zach Gilford and RJ Hatanaka are also set to return.

A Look at the New Season

Paramount+ has released a first-look clip of the new season, which sees the BAU team investigating a case with ties to a crime from 30 years prior. Storrie joins a long list of guest stars for the season, including Jeri Ryan (Star Trek: Voyager), Justin Kirk, Yvette Nicole Brown, and Clark Gregg.
