This summer, something very special is happening in our cultural cosmos. Something you don't often experience: two worlds coming together and forming one whole for a single day. The worlds of Paradiso and Ruigoord will merge. Not as separate planets, but as two stars that have been constantly moving in each other's orbit since their origin. Every year, Ruigoord travels to Paradiso for the Amsterdams Ballongezelschap, and this summer we're reversing that journey: Paradiso to Ruigoord. For one day, they will share the same light, the same energy, and the same space. A dance that feels like coming home, and one we celebrate during ‘A Field Trip to the Cosmos’.
Join us on our field trip and wander around the cosmic Ruigoord grounds. Immerse yourself in (live) music, encounter art, broaden your perspective with new scientific insights, be inspired by poetry and performance, dance among the stardust late into the night, and discover much more during A Field Trip to the Cosmos; A field trip for curious minds and daydreamers.
Of course, a field trip isn't a real field trip without a cosmic journey of discovery past all the stages on the Ruigoord site. Around every corner, a new universe full of surprises, stimuli, and inspiration awaits, from dreamy sounds to otherworldly performances.
In the coming weeks, more acts will be announced per stage, so keep your antennas sharp and stay tuned.
