For 45 years, the Society for Unnatural Letters has been meeting in generally secret locations in the Netherlands. The members will make a public appearance during a special afternoon in the auditorium of the H'ART Museum as part of the Shakespeare Club of COC Amsterdam e.o. Visitors will get an intimate glimpse into the history of the Society and celebrate the launch of Vrijplaats: a collection of queer prose, essays, and poetry by society members. The authors will give short, stimulating pitches – educational, moving, humorous, mischievous, and sometimes shameless. Writer Gerbrand Bakker will receive the first copy. Drinks will follow.
