Golden Jubilee of the Music from a Legendary Musical
The world-famous musical Evita is celebrating its 50th anniversary in a grand way! Experience the beautiful masterpiece in the version as it was intended: as a musical concert, sung in English by top soloists Vajèn van den Bosch and Milan van Waardenburg. They will be accompanied by a thirty-piece orchestra and a large choir on stage. The remaining roles will be announced at a later date.
The legendary duo Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber released the concept album Evita in November 1976, which of course featured the song that became an instant worldwide hit: ‘Don’t Cry For Me Argentina’. In the Netherlands, the hit also stayed at number one in the top 40 for no less than ten weeks. Thus, the musical about the life of the famous Argentine actress and first lady Eva Péron became one of the most beloved musicals of all time. To celebrate this golden jubilee, Albert Verlinde and Huub van den Heuvel with House of Entertainment, in close collaboration with LW Entertainment, present this unique tour, which can be seen in only eight Dutch theaters.
