What can an owl, a duck and the goddess Athena teach us about shame? What began as an exploration of queerness and feeling different has grown into a story about the profound journey through the psychology of self-exposure and shame.
Geoffrey van der Ven performs the piece he developed over the past year and presented with great success at Amsterdam Fringe. The press wrote:
“Geoffrey speaks with emphasis and makes intense eye contact as he moves gracefully from one side of the café to the other. Audience members hang on From van der Ven’s lips, in part because he presents himself so vulnerably. No disguises here.” – Shira Keller NRC
Followed by a Queer storytelling evening in the foyer.
