Music event, honoring trans role models from a century ago with a tribute to their lives.
Trans Tribute Stage
During the Trans Tribute Stage, three queer and trans singers dedicate songs to unsung trans heroes who lived 100 years ago. By sharing their stories and exploring what trans life looked like in a different era, we keep alive the memories of those who came before us. Amsterdam Southeast recently opened the ZOJAZZ Stage, a venue celebrating Black musicians and history from our district to the wider world. By centering the event on Black excellence and bringing past stories to life, we emphasise the importance of storytelling.
