Babs is a versatile, colorful artist and producer from Leiden, who combines socially relevant rap lyrics with catchy, self-produced pop beats. Her music is full of sharp observations, personal stories, and societal themes that she raps about with a healthy dose of humor and self-deprecation. Her debut EP 'Ruimtevrees' was released during the pandemic in 2021. After that, things took off quickly: she performed at festivals like Noorderslag, Paaspop, Dauwpop, and Zwarte Cross, and her song 'Bennie Boos' was nominated for Song of the Year. In 2024, she also participated in the popular TV show 'Wie is de Mol?'.

With her energetic live show, Babs has played on numerous stages and completed two sold-out club tours in the Netherlands. Together with a tight live band, which includes her twin brother as keyboardist and MC, she effortlessly gets a room dancing without losing the depth of her lyrics. This fall, she will present her second album 'De Club Is Stuk', which she will celebrate with a festive release show.
