In 2015, SOAK released their debut album 'Before We Forget How to Dream'; this album won both the Choice Music Prize and the Northern Ireland Music Prize and was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize. The subsequent albums, 'Grim Town' and 'If I Never Know You Like This Again', also received critical acclaim. The artist has toured extensively through the US and Europe and performed at prestigious festivals such as Glastonbury, SXSW, Primavera, and Other Voices. Additionally, they supported Julien Baker's concert series in London and toured with artists like Modest Mouse and Lucy Dacus.
SOAK's fourth album, 'decembers', was born in literal silence. Due to an autoimmune disease, it was precisely the absence of sound that formed the basis for the most striking album to date, both in sound and lyrics, from the Derry artist.
