THEME OF THIS EVENING: POLY HOLIDAY SEASONS
For many people, the Holiday Season with Christmas, Hanukkah and New Year’s Eve can feel a little… complex. As vacations and days-off come around, our minds become occupied. We run around looking for the perfect gift and prepare ourselves for long-standing family dynamics, unfamiliar territory with in-laws and the dilemma of choosing between friends’ parties.
Now, what happens if we add more than one partner or lover? Being polyamorous, open or otherwise ethically non-monogamous during the winter holidays can range from happy to heartbreaking. Deciding whom and where to spend them with, and why. Being a secondary and not invited. Trying to keep things separate, but needing to acclimate to your metamour anyway. Figuring out who you’ll kiss at midnight, and wondering if it will change.
How can we best and most efficiently schedule, navigate these topics and fulfill as many needs as possible, without draining ourselves? With openness to creative solutions, we may find there is enough love to go around.
This evening is for anyone: whether you’re just starting out or already experienced in non-monogamy/open relationships/polyamory.
Do you not have that much budget and would like to come? Then we can figure something out. Send a message to the organizer.
Poly Stories invites you to explore the wondrous world of non-monogamy through personal storytelling: together navigating the edges and unpacking (moral) dilemmas. This evening is for everyone with a curiosity for the free shapes of love.
Each evening revolves around a central theme. We co-create the night together. There is space to talk to others, ask questions and bring in your own experiences.
