Less than two years ago, you probably hadn't heard the name 'Dressed Like Boys'. In 2026, that's a different story: over the past twelve months, Belgian singer-songwriter Jelle Denturck has brought home nothing short of a debut album and a heap of accolades. The hearts of Europe had been won over.
The tinkling piano intros, refined musical arrangements and affectionate poetry on his debut album (poetry that reveals more than it conceives and will never perish) earned him multiple nominations in Belgium and festival slots at Rock Werchter and Best Kept Secret. Still, the sold-out shows didn't halt the progress of a new project: 'The East Houston Tapes', written and recorded in Dressed Like Boys' home studio, drops mid-November. You can catch it live at Tolhuistuin in March.
