Film and Dance Collide

This special event, part of the IDFA Meets series, brings together the worlds of documentary film and participatory dance. The evening begins with a screening of Just Look Up, an energetic film that follows the passionate young activists of Climate Defiance as they take direct action in the lead-up to the 2024 US presidential election.

From Spectator to Participant

After the film, the energy shifts from the screen to the dance floor. The queer dance collective STOMP will host an inclusive linedance workshop. Linedancing, with its communal steps and rhythms, offers a powerful way to connect and move together. This part of the evening is designed to transform the experience from passive viewing into active, collective participation.

Join for an inspiring night that combines critical reflection with the joy of movement and community.
