Drag Me [2] RoXY is a sparkling drag monologue about the most famous nightclub in Amsterdam. An exciting and intimate ode to the "second home" of a whole generation of night owls. World-famous stars, extravagant outfits, sensational performances, a notorious door policy: RoXY was once an iconic sanctuary. Thirty years later, actor and drag performer Sytze Bouma attempts to bring RoXY back to life. With a stack of interviews with RoXY-goers and with the help of drag performances, old photos, and booming house music, Sytze investigates what remains today of the "paradisiacal haven" that RoXY once was. A visually stunning and exhilarating solo about the longing for a queer home and an invitation to breathe new life into old freedom. Drag Me [2] RoXY takes you back to the hedonistic 90s, to the illustrious club that went up in flames in the summer of 1999.
