Velvet Publishers presents the photo book A Queer Gaze by Marian Bakker, an event many have been looking forward to for months. Thanks to the generous donations of more than 400 contributors, this beautiful retrospective of Marian Bakker's work on the les-bi-queer and gay scene from 1980-1999 has been realized.

Marian and Velvet have put together a wonderful program, with various contributors from the book, such as Mariken Heitman, Nanoah Struik, and Talisa Harjono. People portrayed in the book will also speak about what the photos from back then still mean to them today. And of course, Marian herself will also speak extensively. The afternoon will be hosted by none other than Dolly Bellefleur.

The presentation will be followed by drinks and book sales.
