Talking with Queer Asylum Seekers
Meet the people behind the headlines.
During this evening, we put the people on stage who are the subject of debate in The Hague (and elsewhere). We want to connect people, whether you've just arrived here or were born here. With connection comes understanding, and we learn how we can help each other.
We will discuss questions like:
- How can you help support queer asylum seekers?
- What can politics change?
- How can we improve the safety of queer people in asylum centers (AZCs)?
- How do we bring asylum seekers into contact with the local community?
After the joint session on stage, there will be an opportunity to meet and chat at the bar.
This evening is a collaboration between QueerVolt Nederland and LGBT Asylum Support.
