Jordana's music has always been strongly connected to a specific setting. On her debut album 'Classical Notions' (2020), it sounds small and subdued: dreamy indie pop, recorded in her bedroom in Kansas. In her collaboration with TV Girl on 'Summer's Over', you can hear the vastness of a sunny Californian backyard. On her new, semi-self-titled project 'Jordanaland', the 25-year-old songwriter creates a completely unique place for the first time. The EP was recorded with her friends Charlie Kilgore & Julian Kaufman from the eccentric pop group MICHELLE, and shows Jordana in her most colorful environment to date.
An openly queer/lesbian artist she writes specifically about the "Queer experience," covering themes of queer heartbreak, toxic attachments, and finding community.
