For Angel and Lulu Prost, the sibling duo behind Frost Children, home has always sounded like dance music. Growing up in St. Louis, they became captivated as teenagers by the catharsis and energy of golden-age EDM.
On their third album ‘SISTER’ (released via True Panther/Dirty Hit), they return to the sounds that first shaped them but this time with the precision and confidence of two distinct artists. The result is a layered and deeply personal record, moving between emo, electro and pop, while exploring themes of codependency, change and connection. At the same time, the album offers a sharp portrait of their unique creative bond: as bandmates, as roommates, as two like-minded spirits who, in Angel’s words, communicate through “twin telepathy.” Last December, they already took the stage in Paradiso’s Bovenzaal. Now, it’s Tolhuistuin’s turn.
