You can recognize her by the little piano (and now apparently a fish too) that she drags everywhere. Why she does that is one of the many facts from her full-evening stand-up comedy debut. After five years of preparation, Marlies Verschueren presents her debut show Weak Sex. In this solo performance, she looks at her transition from man to woman with humor and sharpness. She talks about what it's like to live life as a brand-new member of the 'weaker sex', and how that change has shifted her perspective on the world.

The performance combines observations, self-deprecation, and personal anecdotes. Marlies measures daily life as a woman and shows how quickly she is confronted with expectations, prejudices, and sexism. Her small piano, which she always brings along, acts as a playful and recognizable element that gives her stories an unexpected twist.
