Emily Salvia - Before I'm 30

More info & tickets

What if you want to grow up, but also can't let go?

From awkward coming-of-age moments to deep questions about the future, everything is covered in this solo theater performance by Emily Salvia. And all in full drag with a healthy dose of self-deprecation. Relatable, raw, and sometimes a bit absurd. Perfect for anyone who feels young and has no idea where life is headed.

Before I'm 30... is a moving and hilarious drag cabaret show by Emily Salvia, the alter ego of theater maker Luuk van de Ven. In a mix of theater, sketches, and music, Emily takes the audience on an intimate, compelling, and sometimes absurdly funny quest for adulthood, identity, and self-acceptance. What starts as a lighthearted checklist of things you 'should have done before you're thirty' slowly unravels into a raw look at trauma, sexual violence, anxiety, and the pressure to perform.
