Maxi tears down the stage in a whirlwind of anuses, pop, camp, and cabaret, somewhere between a concert and a performance. EDM and ballads, infused with humor and performativity, play with themes of desire, taboo, and identity.
Both physical and symbolic openings, holes, cracks, and in-between spaces serve as portals to intimacy, pleasure, and shared fantasies. Using music, voice, movement, and text, Maxi creates a place to experiment and to fail. This creates space for connection, vulnerability, and the opportunity to loosen our norms.
ANALBUM
As Maxi, Maxime Dreesen presents for the first time new songs that are part of the long-running project ANALBUM. ANALBUM will be released later, but in Zaal 3, these songs will have their moment to shine during this try-out.
This is not yet ANALBUM.
It is the moment before.
