Step back into the hedonistic 90s with Drag Me to RoXY, a vibrant solo performance by actor and drag artist Sytze Bouma. This show is an intimate and exciting tribute to Amsterdam's most famous and iconic nightclub, RoXY, a legendary safe haven for a generation of partygoers.
Once a world-renowned hotspot known for its extravagant outfits, groundbreaking performances, and infamous door policy, RoXY burned down in the summer of 1999. Now, three decades later, Sytze Bouma attempts to resurrect its spirit on stage. Through a combination of dazzling drag, classic house music, archival photos, and stories from original RoXY regulars, the show explores what remains of this queer paradise.
