Every other Thursday, we open the doors of Het Makershuis at Berlijnplein for the Queer (& Ally) Open Atelier. A place where we create together, connect with one another, and celebrate the creativity of our community. You're always welcome to work on your own creative project, learn new (textile) techniques, find inspiration, or simply drop by for a cup of tea and a good conversation.

Don't have any inspiration, or want to start something new but aren't sure where to begin? No worries. Every two weeks, we explore a new theme and offer the opportunity to learn a new technique under the guidance of artist Renske de Jong (she/her). Think embroidery, punch needle, linocut printing, jewellery making and more. There is also plenty of space to share ideas, discuss topics that matter to you, exchange feedback on creative work and inspire one another.

(A quiet room is available for anyone who would benefit from a low-stimulation environment.)
