Explore the picturesque Dutch landscape on a guided 16-kilometer circular walk starting and ending at Wormerveer station. This is a recurring event organized by the long-distance walking group, taking place on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month.
The route is varied and scenic, following the bustling Zaan river before venturing into tranquil, water-rich nature areas known for their abundant birdlife. A major highlight of the walk is a visit to the world-famous Zaanse Schans, with its iconic windmills and historic wooden houses.

The trail also leads through the charming, protected village of Oud-Zaandijk and the Domineestuin neighborhood, concluding with a 2-kilometer stretch along the Frans Marspad nature path.
