MILAN – A professor at the historic Teulié Military School in Milan has been arrested by the Carabinieri on serious charges including extortion, sexual assault, and mistreatment. The 48-year-old man is accused of abusing his position of authority to coerce students into sexual acts in exchange for passing grades.
The investigation, led by Milan prosecutors Letizia Mannella and Alessia Menegazzo, alleges a disturbing pattern of abuse that began in October 2024. The professor, who also served as an internal commissioner for the school's final high school diploma exams, allegedly exploited his power to subject multiple students to what authorities describe as a "regime of oppression, harassment, and humiliation."
A Climate of Fear and Pressure
The case came to light after one of seven identified adult victims filed a formal complaint. According to the investigation, students were placed in an untenable position: to pass their crucial final exams and avoid academic obstruction, they were allegedly forced to submit to the professor's blackmail and sexual demands.
In a formal statement, Prosecutor Marcello Viola described the situation as a "picture of constant pressure." He noted that the teacher abused not only his educational role but also the "psychological subjugation of the students," forcing them to "endure sexual abuse and to share details of their intimate lives."
