Queer Amsterdam is a photo series of 26 portraits of 13 queer Amsterdammers, supplemented by in-depth interviews. Stories ranging from activists of the 1970s to young non-binary creators, from drag performers to queer Muslims. Together, they paint a collective picture of a changing city and of a community that has never stood still. The stories span 55 years and show the progression of Amsterdam's queer history.
This exhibition is part of the Pride Art Route during WorldPride Amsterdam 2026.
