Writers in Utrecht will have an opportunity to hone their craft from a specifically queer perspective this autumn. A series of three workshops, titled 'SAY IT LOUD, SAY IT QUEER', is being launched by the Lesbische Leesclub (Lesbian Book Club) in collaboration with Velvet Publishers.
Led by author Kiki Bolwijn, the sessions are designed for those looking to experiment with their writing and discover their unique voice within a small group setting. The focus will be on developing narratives and styles that reflect queer experiences and viewpoints, moving beyond conventional literary structures.
The workshop series is part of the official programme for the Utrecht Queer Culture Festival (UQCF), connecting aspiring writers with the city's broader celebration of queer arts.
