Cripping Eros is a multidisciplinary evening where artists and thinkers offer new perspectives on the representation of disability, gender, and (queer) sexuality. The evening offers a diverse and in-depth program with a performance by Hann van Schendel, a lecture by cripqueer artist Menko Dijksterhuis, and video essays by Mira Thompson.
Finally, there will be an interview with Jacqueline Kool, who, as a researcher and author, deals with topics including disability and sexuality. The evening is hosted by Eline Pollaert, who will facilitate a conversation between the creators and the audience, creating space for depth and new ways of seeing.
Cripping Eros is an ode to bodies, desires, and stories that too often remain invisible, making the evening a perfect fit for World Pride Amsterdam.
