Traversing the Mist
In a surreal gay sauna you find yourself embodied in the body of a young Taiwanese man. You venture through this dream world, woven with desire, excitement and fear, and make eye contact with other sauna visitors. As you move across each floor, corridor and room, every layer of the labyrinth inevitably unravels behind you. In the end, everything fades away. With Traversing the Mist, CHOU Tung-Yen pushed the boundaries of real-time XR technology and storytelling. “We wanted to acknowledge a work that left us speechless and consciously connected.
