"How can you know what it's like to be human if you're only concerned with how a human is supposed to be?"
Thorn de Vries performs Skins (Schillen), the theatrical monologue that was the foundation for their book of the same name, at Bellevue. In fragmented scenes, Thorn takes the audience through their life in an attempt to reconcile with the girl they once thought they were. It is a solo performance about identity, narratives, and transformation.
This performance is part of the Queer All Year program.
