For bookworms and story lovers aged 6 and over, we’re presenting a special The Bookshop Kids this Pride! For this edition, we’re transforming our soft pink Bookshop into a space filled with children’s stories where the imagination can run wild. During Pride, a drag queen will be reading to the children from the most beautiful children’s books.

The children can find a cosy spot on the cushions. And mums, dads, grandads, grandmas or the babysitter? They can find a seat in The Bookshop, or simply stay put in the Brasserie.

What will we be doing?

We’ll start with an opening by our drama teacher, in which both children and parents can join in straight away. Then we’ll listen together to a lovely story read aloud by a drag queen. Next, a few short drama activities will really get the imagination going. We’ll finish with free play: dressing up, colouring and setting off on your own adventures.
