Alok breaks the gender binary with poetry, comedy, and a hefty dose of radical self-acceptance. The expressive performer combines gentleness with humor and proves that healing begins with unconditionally being yourself. Whether it's their acclaimed book 'Beyond The Gender Binary' or their comedy shows, Alok's message inspires followers worldwide and hits like a sledgehammer of love.

In Alok's first comedy special 'BIOLOGY!', they are the subject of the short documentary “ALOK”, produced by Jodie Foster and directed by Alex Hedison. On screen, they can also be seen in 'Complicated Order', 'The Trans List', and 'Absolute Dominion' (coming soon). On television, Alok appears in HBO's 'Sex Lives of College Girls', 'Sort Of', and 'Random Acts of Flyness', Hulu's 'Planet Sex with Cara Delevingne', and Netflix's 'Gender Agenda Comedy Special' and 'Getting Curious with Jonathan Van Ness'.

This summer, Alok is touring Europe with a stand-up comedy show. During World Pride, they will also visit Melkweg for a performance in the RABO hall.
