Visibly So

Open your eyes and ears wide for a range of luminaries. The Literary Salon of Roze Stadsdorp Amsterdam, in collaboration with the Shakespeare Club, will be visibly and audibly present at Worldpride 2026. Three historical torchbearers of our community will be discussed.

On the agenda:

Lesbisch Prachtboek (Lesbian Splendor Book): Originally published in 1979 by SARA and now only available as an antique. A special appearance by the women behind this literary flagship.
A Queer Gaze by Marian Bakker: A publication by Velvet Publishers. The publishers offer a look behind the scenes of their work.
Mischa Cohen on Erwin Olaf: The biographer of renowned photographer Erwin Olaf provides clarity and insight into the artist's work, life, and his significance within the LGBTQ+ world.
