Memorial Gathering in Amsterdam

Stichting Homomonument is organizing a memorial gathering for the victims of the attack that took place during the Pride celebrations in Berlin on Saturday, July 25, 2026, which resulted in one fatality and 29 injuries. Everyone is welcome to attend the commemoration to show solidarity.

At the monument, candles and flowers can be laid to express support for the victims, their relatives, and the community.

Speakers

Among others, the Dutch-German influencer couple Karl and Daan, who were present at the Pride in Berlin during the attack, will give a speech.

This gathering follows the commemoration in Berlin, where the Brandenburg Gate was illuminated in rainbow colors, and a minute of silence observed at the Amsterdam queer festival Milkshake.
