A box containing hundreds of letters, found in a storage unit in Los Angeles, brings a group of New York drag queens from the 1950s back together. The letters, written by the drag queens to a friend, reveal a hidden world of gender fluidity, where the writers felt free to be their true selves.
The documentary P.S. Burn This Letter Please is a moving and important portrait of a group of pioneers who fought for their right to be who they were, in a time when that was far from a given.
