Joe Jackson returns to the Netherlands with his new album Hope and Fury. After an impressive career spanning more than forty years, the versatile musician Joe Jackson returns to the Netherlands. With his brand-new album Hope and Fury, he will perform at Koninklijk Theater Carré for an unforgettable evening full of sharp lyrics, brilliant melodies, and that unmistakable mix of pop, rock, jazz, and Latin. Or, as Joe himself calls it: Bicoastal LatinJazzFunkRock. Don’t miss this night!

HOPE AND FURY

With Hope and Fury, Joe Jackson proves that his creativity is as vibrant as ever. The album bursts with strong new songs, humor, emotion, and character. It marks an energetic return to the “JJ mainstream”: intelligent pop, surprising grooves, and razor-sharp reflections on the world around us.

“Hello cruel world, I’m not going away, so I might as well have my say,” Jackson sings in the opening track, and that says it all. Joe Jackson is far from finished.

ABOUT JOE JACKSON

Born in England in 1954, Joe Jackson first broke through in the late 1970s with the legendary Look Sharp!, followed by classics such as I’m the Man, Night and Day, and Body and Soul. Throughout his career, he has proven himself to be one of the most versatile and distinctive artists of his generation,composer, singer, pianist, and producer all in one. His repertoire ranges from pop and rock to jazz, swing, and even symphonic music. After a recent detour into British Music Hall with What a Racket!, Jackson now returns to his roots with Hope and Fury.

On tour, he’ll once again be joined by his longtime band: Graham Maby (bass), Teddy Kumpel (guitar), Doug Yowell (drums), and Paulo Stagnaro (percussion).

This performance is a collaboration between MOJO Concerts and Royal Theater Carré, where MOJO Concerts is the responsible producer and Carré is responsible for ticket sales and location.
