A household name for fifty years and still going strong: Paul Haenen created the longest-running character in Dutch theater history with Margreet Dolman. And that's something to celebrate! On February 1, 2026, Margreet celebrated her fiftieth birthday in a sold-out Grote Zaal of the Amsterdam Concertgebouw. So, it's great news that this special performance can now be seen at our venue.

The evening begins with Dammie van Geest and Paul Haenen, followed by a sharp, optimistic, and humorous speech by Reverend Gremdaat. After the intermission, Margreet Dolman enters the arena: wise, warm, and still surprisingly contemporary. With songs, special video clips from her rich past, and her disarming outlook on life, she provides a touch of Margreet magic.

You are invited to share personal stories, which Margreet transforms into candid and often hilarious conversations. Of course, Doctor Valentijn is by her side with advice, action, and a reassuring glance.
