Beautiful songs, embarrassing jokes, and stories from a full life.
Johan Goossens - The Full Life
After covering his experiences in education, the darkroom, and healthcare in his previous shows, comedian, writer, and former teacher Johan Goossens colorfully shares which new worlds he has dived into in 'The Full Life'. He took a course in alternative therapy, drank hectoliters of herbal tea, and, in his capacity as a board member, sent passive-aggressive emails at night.
This is how Johan bravely navigates existence, though he still feels the urge to hide under the covers. Instead, he creates a show with beautiful songs, embarrassing jokes, and stories from a full life.
Press Reviews
"Everyday anecdotes are interspersed with absurd digressions and beautiful songs; harsh and banal jokes stand alongside dryly comical observations and clever wordplay."
— Theaterkrant
"A sharp eye for his own daily fumbling."
— NRC
"Johan Goossens skillfully plays with cynicism and sincerity."
— Trouw
