Inclusive Stories and Creative Fun

Join the monthly Rainbow Stories event at the OBA's youth theater for an afternoon of reading and crafting. Every second Friday of the month, readers from the LGBTQ+ community share stories from inclusive children's books. These sessions provide a wonderful opportunity for children to meet queer adults who proudly and joyfully share their experiences.

What to Expect

The event is designed to be a safe and cozy space for all children and their families. The activities include:

Story Time: Listen to engaging stories that touch on important themes like being yourself, solidarity, positive self-image, and dealing with bullying.
Craft Session: After the reading, kids can get creative and make something special together.

A Place for Everyone

This event warmly welcomes everyone, regardless of their clothing, pronouns, hairstyle, or favorite color. It's a place where children are encouraged to be themselves.
