About the show
Recently graduated actor Thor Braun dives with full dedication into the work of Pasolini. From his own experiences as a gay man, he enters into a dialogue with Pasolini's poems, novels, and films, which are steeped in passionate desires: young, naked, and muscular men bathing in the Italian afternoon heat, or roaming through grassy fields under the chirping of cicadas. Through letters, scenes, and a lot of paint, Thor investigates how Pasolini's love frenzy relates to himself and to this time. What void was Pasolini trying to fill? And how do you relate to an artist whose work raises critical questions in the year 2025?

More about the makers
Thor Braun started acting in films and on television at a young age, including the role of crowd favorite Chris in the successful television series Oogappels. He graduated from the ArtEZ Theatre School in 2025. Jongens is his coming-out as a theater maker, in which he expresses his love for painting and shamelessly emotional theater. In the Theater Yearbook 24-25 of the Theaterkrant, he is named the most promising newcomer three times.
