Loveball is a night where the city comes together to celebrate freedom, inclusivity, and love. The Other Side Amsterdam sets the stage for this unforgettable kickoff.

Loveball is rooted in the legacy of Amsterdam legendary club culture. In the 80s and 90s, venues like Roxy defined a generation. They were places where house music, art, fashion and activism collided. Where the night was extravagant, provocative and radically free. Where self-expression was not only allowed, but celebrated.

That spirit lives on at Loveball — powered by Diva Mayday, the creative force behind the event and one of the shining stars of the night. As an icon of expression, performance and unapologetic glamour, Diva Mayday embodies the very essence of Loveball and brings its vision to life on and beyond the dancefloor.

Expect an immersive musical journey driven by house music, featuring leading DJs and live performances by national and international artists. From deep, hypnotic grooves to uplifting, high-energy house sounds that will carry you through the night and into the early morning.

LoveBall gives back to the community

At LoveBall, it is not just about glitter, glamour, and dancing, we also celebrate the people who made it possible for us to live freely today. That is why we support queer elders: the pioneers of the LGBTQ+ community who, in times of far less acceptance, fought for visibility, rights, and the freedom to be themselves.

Many elderly people, including queer elders, experience loneliness today. Some do not feel safe being open about their identity in care homes due to fear of misunderstanding, even though they spent their lives fighting for love and equality. With LoveBall, we want to help change that through a financial contribution and by encouraging attention, connection, and joy, making special moments possible that enhance their wellbeing and quality of life.

Visitors will also have the opportunity on the night itself to donate voluntarily and directly support initiatives that uplift queer elders.

Together, we do not just celebrate the present, we honor the past and help build a future in which no one is forgotten.

Loveball is more than a party. It is the beginning of Pride. It is a tribute to our past — and a celebration of what is to come.
