Because she was told since her teenage years that her voice could calm a horny stallion, vixnde decided to take her talents seriously and use them for the public good. She started Le Téléphone Rose as a night program on Radio WORM and added a morning version on Operator Radio. The concept? Your phone calls and voice messages are an integral part of the show. On the program: music, stories, random thoughts, and of course, YOU.

Le Téléphone Rose, French jargon for erotic hotlines, is also a research project. Inspired by the transaction that takes place via premium numbers (where a voice on the other end briefly made you feel like someone was really there), vixnde is interested in the potential of the Pink Phone as an alternative to social media. In an era dominated by hyper-connectivity and access to an overwhelming amount of information, what if we took the time to call? What if we met someone new through an old medium?

During O. Festival, the experiment is extended to the entire audience and beyond, as a Pink Booth will be set up in the middle of the festival. So, what are you waiting for? Come on by! Call the Pink Phone from wherever you are at the festival, or pick up the phone and listen to someone you've never seen before.
